Misaki's Day

Misaki sat at a table in the food court. She felt a bit more depressed as usual. People were staring, and muttering. Not only did she have the Nightshade's bandana around her kneck, but she was hugging Safetypin, and looking very sad. She looked around, and noticed something. She had gathered a circle of people around her, staring. When she looked, the people pretended not to notice. "STOP STARING!" She screamed. The people, startled, scattered in different directions. She sighed. "Why are you the only one who cares about me, Safetypin?"

Mimi was walking around in the mall. She had her gang's neckerchief on this time, and a black hoodie on, covering most of her face. Then she heard Misaki, and the bunch of people fleeing everywhere. She walked through the people and walked over to Misaki. "Ohey." She said, sitting down on the other side of the table and taking down her hood, letting her blonde hair fall out. She shifted uncomfortably because of her tight jean shorts.

Misaki looked up. "I've seen you before." She said. She hugged Safetypin a bit tighter.

"It's okay, I'm Mimi." She said, puffing out her chest a bit to show her neckerchief.

Misaki loosened her tensity. "I know." She said. "I'm Misaki." She tugged at her neckercheif to show her.

"Misaki.. that's a nice name." Mimi said, smiling.

Misaki said nothing. She felt vunerable to the world around her.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Mimi asked, looking at her curiously, "You hungry?".

"No, I actually just ate." She replied. "It's these people. I don't like it."

"Oh. Wanna go somewhere with no people? I know a hideout in an abandoned apartment building. I actually used to live there.." Mimi said.

"I uh... I guess..." Misaki said slowly.

"Or do you want to do something else?" Mimi asked.

"Anything's fine."
